REGALIA RESIDENCES and the rest of “Where to stay in KUALA LUMPUR?”

Few weeks before our flight to Kuala Lumpur earlier this year, my wife and I were still torn in choosing between staying at the hotel or booking a homestay thru AirBnB. No doubt that choosing the latter would mean lower prices. But, it doesn’t mean that it’s better than choosing hotels especially that the critical part in booking homestays are choosing which one could still be of quality, cozy, and convenient yet can still be within the budget since some photos are honestly deceiving. We’ve learned it from experience as that place we stayed in Singapore. Now let me tell you where we stayed in Kuala Lumpur… maybe you’ll choose it…

Exploring MALAYSIA’S BATU CAVES: finally but not “really”

“Let’s just go there quickly to explore other places.” I can still remember how Quennie and I talked about exploring the important places to explore in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We’re already on the city during that time, checked in at our temporary home; and the bedtime fast approaching. We could’ve had almost 3 days to explore the whole city before taking a bus going to Singapore. The original reason why I chose Monday morning as our flight. Arriving to the city early, we’ll have more time to explore especially those places that we’re not able to visit the last time we came here; at least on my thoughts. But as usual, it…

DIN TAI FUNG: “Taipei’s Best” in SM Megamall, Metro Manila

Yesterday, I broke my promise to my wife. But it’s not what you think. Okay?  Now let me narrate it. These past few weeks, I’ve been going in and out of SM Megamall to address work-related concerns. Well, we’re going to have a project located here. Each time I tell my wife that I’m going to have my fieldwork here, coincidentally, she also had hers. By that, we agree to meet and go home together after running our respective errands. In some cases, before going home, we just roam around the mall; eat; or look for something to buy in order to just kill time knowing how chaotic the traffic can be.…

That much needed breather at CLOUD 9 ANTIPOLO, RIZAL

One of my goals for this year 2018 is to reach more places. Myself and of course, my wife. No committed number of places to go since honestly, there are lots of things to consider on my end. Budget and time being the largest factor especially there will be lots of adjustments for my wife and I on the months to come (which I’ll be announcing later on). I somehow gave myself an goal of travelling at least once a month in order to start giving myself a number, but somehow reminded myself not to be strict about it in order to minimize any disappointments and give way to my…

    EMPIRE STEAK MAGINHAWA

My wife Quennie and I decided to spontaneously drive somewhere near the city one Saturday last month after her half-day work shift. Both of us were immersed at our respective workplaces for weeks already back then (even till now… LOL!) so I decided to find ideas on how to just unwind even for a short while. But becoming hungry along the way while dealing with chaotic and congested Manila traffic, the nearest place to eat that came into my mind was the Food Trip Capital of Quezon City: Maginhawa st (at least in my mind… LOL!). On another note, we’ve already visited Maginhawa many times already each time my wife…
